My Favourite Food

My Favourite Food

In Singapore, there are many types of different delicacies. There are Japanese, Thai, Vietnamese, and French and so on. But basically, my favourite comes from all of them. Food is just something we take in to fill our stomachs. Therefore, we shouldn’t be so picky about what we eat. The most basic type of food we eat is usually noodles, rice, chicken, duck and fish.

My favourite is still Japanese food. There are different types of food that involves a wide range of different animals. A few of my favourite Japanese food are the kappa maki, tempura udon and the soft shell crab hand roll. I enjoy eating soft shell crab as when you put it into your mouth and crunch onto it; you can feel the crab break into small pieces and the sumptuous juice drips into your mouth. Even though the kappa maki is dry, the taste of the combinations of the Japanese rice and cucumber is just unbelievable.

Some other types of my favourite food is the wanton noodles at rivervalley. They have different types of wantons. The fried wanton is so nice that one bowl is never enough for me. Another great stall is the bak ku teh stall previously behind tiong bahru. I always drink the soup and eat at least 5 bowls of rice. And don’t worry, the price of food at all these stalls are cheap.
