Letter To Mrs Sim
Dear Mrs. Sim,
How are you for the past few years? I have been promoted to secondary 4 express! It was a really tough year in sec 3 as there weren’t many good teachers who could really teach us well and there were changes in history and social studies teachers, therefore I struggled through the whole year but I made it.
For the past one month since January, my class moved from the fifth to the sixth floor. It is so high up that the wind is so much cooler that I am usually shivering. And every morning I climb six stories that my legs ache every now and then.
By the way, our school’s uniform has been changed that the collar–pin has been removed and an iron-on badge has been added to our breast pocket. This idea is good in a way that we will never forget to bring our collar-pins again but it looks so much uglier than before.
Our English teacher as well as our principle of accounts teacher has left us. Both of them changed to other schools which we feel is a waste as they were magnificent teachers. Mrs. Tan has taken us for our chemistry which is a great relieve as our previous chemistry teacher isn’t as good as Mrs. Tan.
It is a crucial year and I feel quite stressed as I only have free time if I skip doing my work. There are so many extra lessons that I usually reach home at least after 5 o’clock. Luckily, the teachers are trying their best this year to help us do well for our o’levels and I have improved from last year. I am determined to get good grades for my o’levels this year and probably if I can, go to a good Junior College.
